Who can use Squadded Up
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms. You need an Apple or Google account to sign in. Keep your account to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on it.
Community rules
Squadded Up is for getting people out together. To keep it that way, you may not post, send, or put on the map or in a name anything that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
- attacks people for their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any similar trait;
- is sexually explicit, or sexual attention someone didn't ask for;
- encourages self harm, violence or illegal activity;
- impersonates someone, or shares someone else's private information without their permission;
- is spam, a scam, or advertising nobody asked for.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Messages, map bubbles, squad names and display names pass through a filter that refuses abusive words, but a filter can't catch everything, so we rely on you to report.
Reporting and blocking
Long press any message to report it, or report a person from their page. Blocking someone hides everything they sent you and stops them reaching you. We review every report within 24 hours. When something breaks these rules we remove it, and we may suspend or permanently remove the account that posted it, without warning. You can also email [email protected].
Your content
You own the activities, messages, names and other things you put into Squadded Up. You give us permission to store them and to show them to the people you choose, which is what the app needs to work. You can delete them, or your whole account, at any time from Settings.
Location and safety
Squadded Up shows your location to the people you choose, while you are recording. Choose carefully who you share with. Snowboarding, skiing, skating, biking, hiking and running carry real risk of injury. Follow local rules, ride within your ability, and never use the app in a way that takes your attention from what's around you. Meeting people you found on Squadded Up is at your own risk. Distances, speeds, levels and other numbers are estimates, and nothing in the app is medical advice.
Subscriptions
Squadded Up Pro is a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically at the price and period shown when you subscribe, unless you turn off auto renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. On iPhone and Apple Watch, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
Ending your use
You can stop using Squadded Up and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or put other people at risk.
